President / CEO

Andrea Peters

The President / CEO of E Packaging & Fulfillment Company formerly served as a Manufacturing Engineer with Rockwell International and Boeing. In addition, she held the position as a Principle Consultant, IT Manager, Business Process Consultant at EDS, Ernst & Young, LLP and PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP. Her consulting experience exposed her to the pharmaceutical industry and thus, inspired E Packaging & Fulfillment Company, LLC. Ms. Peters has always engaged in entrepreneurial initiatives. She owns a US Patent 6,309,125 and created a small company that operated in Plano, TX to assist inventors with their creative ideas.

She has an undergraduate degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Iowa. Ms. Peters graduated with an MBA from University of Texas. She holds Green & Black Belts Six Sigma certifications from the University of Michigan, College of Engineering. She also holds a Master Certificate in Project Management from the University of Texas.

Chief Operating Officer

Earl Szymanski

Earl comes to E Packaging & Fulfillment, LLC with over 40 years extensive management/senior management experience in the pharmaceutical industry. He assumed the duties of Chief Operating Officer, concentrating on shaping a business environment where growth and development flourishes. As the company continues to grow in size and service, Earl is responsible for securing talent required to building the company’s traditionally high quality services for successful delivery in the global marketplace.

A graduate from Loyola University with a B.S. in Biology (minors in Chemistry,Physics), an MBA in Finance & Marketing Roosevelt University Earl gained valuable experience in research having 4 patents. He designed, implemented and taught the Six Sigma Black Belt Certification program for the Chicago area (first year team savings over $2MM). He has managed the building and start-up of facilities in the US and offshore.

Earl is an Executive Manager who empowers others to succeed.

Vice President Sales/Marketing

Norris Ammons

Norris comes to E Packaging & Fulfillment Company with over 20 years sales and marketing experience in the pharmaceutical industry. He has held positions in sales training, marketing, product analysis, product launches and management with leading pharmaceutical companies including, Baxter Healthcare, Bristol Meyers Squibb, Norvartis, Merck and Glaxo SmithKline. As a part of the Product Advisory Board, he evaluated product marketing and sales strategies. He has also organized promotional events with physicians and colleagues while establishing and maintaining relationships with decision makers that ultimately led to lucrative contracts. He has an excellent grasp of medical terminology and has been devoted to developing and marketing products that save and develop quality of life.

Norris holds a BA., degree in Communications from the College of Wooster, Wooster, Ohio

Director of Human Resources

Andrea Viel-Reed

Andrea comes to E Packaging with over 17 years of progressive Human Resources Management and Organizational Development experience. Her industry background includes manufacturing, not-for-profit and medical industry employers, as well as extensive work with federal and state organizations, such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and the Illinois Department of Human Rights (IDHR). She is a long time member of the United States Army Reserve where she has served over 24 years and is currently a field grade Human Resources officer. She is a decorated war veteran, having served overseas in support of Operation Desert Shield/Storm and most recently two tours of duty in Iraq support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. She brings a wealth of knowledge in human resources planning and management as well as diverse perspective from her unique opportunity and exposure to the military community.

Director of Strategic Planning

Phillip Reed

Phillip comes to E Packaging & Fulfillment Company with over 20 years of organization development and change management experience. He has developed and implemented strategies that gain leadership commitment, build advocacy and involvement, build organizational capability, create organizational alignment and provide measurable outcomes, using a whole systems approach. He has worked with a number of organizations including Abbott, AT&T, Allstate, Siemens, Motorola, Zurich, Sovereign Bank, the City of Elgin, Hanover Township Mental Health Board and Navistar Financial.

Phillip has a BA in Economics from Northwestern University and a MA in Whole Systems Design and Certificate in Organization System Renewal from Antioch University.

Director of Quality

Shelly Tienor

Shelly Tienor has over 15 years experience in the pharmaceutical field. She has worked as the Quality Assurance Manager for both small, family owned Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient Manufacturer, and Solvay Pharmaceuticals, a large, global pharmaceutical organization. Shelly has extensive experience in quality system development and implementation, and process improvement. Keeping the quality systems simple and straightforward, Shelly helps facilitate efficient growth for E Packaging & Fulfillment.

Complementing her B. S. in Mathematics and Operations Management from the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater, Shelly has obtained an MBA specializing in Management Information Systems and Management from the University of Illinois – Chicago. She also has obtained a Six Sigma Green Belt and is a Project Management Professional.

Plant Manager

Darlene Canada

Darlene Canada came to E Packaging & Fulfillment, LLC with over 20 years experience in the corporate pharmaceutical environment. She assumed the duties of Plant Manager, concentrating on shaping a business environment where growth and development flourishes. As the company continues to grow in size and service, Darlene is responsible for securing talent required to embellish the company’s traditionally high quality services for successful delivery in the global marketplace.

A graduate from Western Illinois University with a B.S. in Microbiology, Darlene gained valuable experience in research working at the University of Chicago. She has a Six Sigma Certification, Quality Auditing Certification from the American Society for Quality and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Accounting.

Warehousing/Distribution Manager

Porfirio Ramirez

Porfirio Ramirez has more than 25 years of pharmaceutical operations experience, covering all facets of manufacturing and operations. He has worked for a small, family owned organization, as well as large global pharmaceutical organizations such as Searle, Abbot, and Solvay Pharmaceuticals. Porfirio’s GMP experience ranges from small, hands on manufacturing systems to large, fully automated designs. He has proven expertise in all forms of process equipment, process improvement, and strives to find low-cost, practical, real-world workable solutions.

Porfirio has earned a B.G.S. in Organizational Management from North Park University in Chicago, IL. He has also obtained a Six Sigma Green Belt.

Mechanical / Facilities Engineer

Brian Westerfield

Brian Westerfield has over 30 years experience as a Maintenance Mechanic/Technician in the food and paper industries. His focus is heavy industrial and complex machinery. Brian has over 10 yrs experience in maintenance supervisory roles. He has attended Prairie State College for Millwright Apprenticeship Program, Purdue University (Calumet) for Electrical Engineering, Indiana University Northwest for Multicraft Mechanical training and the Allied Institute of Baking for Mechanical Engineering for HVAC.
